PRESS RELEASE:  Hourly Childcare to Open in Blakeney

Children will soon have an exciting and engaging place to go while their parents run errands, attend appointments, or enjoy leisure time.

Kids’ Klub, a new drop-in childcare center, opens the week of January 14th in the Shops at Blakeney.  Kids’ Klub will provide “hourly childcare, when you need it” to children ages 2 through 10.  No reservation is required.

Kids’ Klub will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.  Kids’ Klub will be closed on Sunday.

Kids’ Klub is owned and operated by Tricia Cotham.  Cotham is a mother, a former teacher of the year, a former Assistant Principal, and a 3rd term State Representative representing the approximately 80,000 residents of North Carolina House District 100.  She is the current Vice-Chair of the House Education Committee and former Chair of the House K-12 Subcommittee.

“As a mother, I know how tough it is to leave your child,” said Cotham.  “Kids’ Klub will offer the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your child is in an exciting, safe, and engaging environment.”

According to Cotham, Kids’ Klub will be no ordinary childcare.  Drawing on Cotham’s education background, Kids’ Klub will provide guided, aged-based play that meets the cognitive needs of children.
